Free (or well, almost free) Broadband for all! And the technology to do it. NOW!
This NYT article points out something I have been hoping would come along for awhile, affordable broadband access for communities.
Meraki is the company that makes the physical Broadband web connection as easy as installing an analog phone box in a new house so grandma can use her Princess phone. And networking a shared broadband (DSL speeds) connection that can be as cheap as $1 per household.
Power to the people!!
